Valentines for Vets

Each year, the Office of Congresswoman Janelle Bynum invites students from Oregon’s 5th Congressional District to participate in the Valentines for Veterans program. This community-building initiative brings together local K–8 students and veterans by encouraging students to create handmade Valentine’s cards that are delivered to veterans in our community. Through this project, students learn the value of service and gratitude while helping ensure our veterans feel appreciated and honored. Community partners are invited to join us in making this intergenerational celebration of kindness a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved.
