Art Competition

About the Congressional Art Competition:

Every spring, the U.S. House of Representatives hosts a nationwide high school arts competition – an incredible platform to celebrate young talent. This prestigious event not only showcases the creative brilliance of students across the country but also shines a spotlight on an exceptional young artist from Oregon’s 5th Congressional District.

The winning artwork from our district will be proudly displayed in the U.S. Capitol for an entire year, standing alongside artwork from every participating district in the nation. Every day, as Members of Congress walk the halls to cast their votes, they will pass by this inspiring exhibit. Additionally, the winning piece will be featured on the official Congressional Art Competition page.
