ICYMI: Bynum Holds Two In-Person Town Halls with Senator Wyden

Oregon City, OR – On Sunday, March 16th, Congresswoman Janelle Bynum (OR-05) held two in-person town halls in Clackamas and Linn counties along with Senator Wyden. Approximately 2,500 people came to the two town halls and were given the opportunity to ask questions. Congresswoman Bynum discussed how she’s working to lower costs, create jobs, and improve Oregonians quality of life. Some of the top topics of interest to attendees were protecting Social Security, access to healthcare, and supporting young Oregonians.

“I’m thankful to everyone who took time out of their weekend to show up and make their voice heard,” said Rep. Bynum“I encourage everyone to come to town halls, tell me what’s on their mind, and hold their representatives accountable – it allows me to better represent our community. I look forward to many more town halls in the future.”

Albany Mayor Alex Johnson invited Congresswoman Bynum and Senator Wyden to the Linn County town hall which took place at Linn-Benton Community College. In Clackamas County, Oregon City Mayor Denyse McGriff invited the Members of Congress to the town hall at Clackamas Community College.
